This king size bedsheet and pillow cases’ classic paisley motif originates from the ancient Aryan boteh motif that was brought to India by the Mughal emperor Babur. Legend has it that when Barbur came to India, he missed the textures of Persia, and therefor his son Akbar brought Persian artisans to India to teach the craft to locals. This bed sheet is hand-painted and may have minor imperfections in the print. This is emblematic of handblock printing and should not be considered as defects.
