Alteration Policy for Apparel
In keeping with Shaadilogy's promise to be Partners to Life Partners, we strive to satisfy our customers. Our Alteration Policy, is geared towards ensuring that you enjoy using the products you purchase on Shaadilogy.com.
Made-to-Measure and Made-to-Order Products
For Made-to-Measure and Made-to-Order apparel, alteration requests will usually be entertained free of charge. In order to avail of an alteration, you must inform Shaadilogy of an alteration request within five days of delivery of the product by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Alteration Request." Please provide details of the outfit and the alteration desired.
Since Made-to-Measure apparel is designed as per measurement inputs from the buyer, if the buyer entered incorrect measurement details into the online form, alteration as per the desired size may not be possible.
Ready-to-Ship Products
For Ready-to-Ship apparel, minor alteration requests may be entertained free of charge on a case-by-case basis. (Minor alterations typically include tapering, marginal size changes). Major alterations, if possible, may incur a charge. In order to avail of an alteration, you must inform Shaadilogy of an alteration request within five days of delivery of the product by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Alteration Request." Please provide details of the outfit and the alteration desired.
For all alterations, customers must contact Shaadilogy to serve as the coordinator. You may be required to ship the product directly to the designer or vendor for alteration.
Return and Exchange Policy
Ready-To-Ship Products
1Timeline and Process for Return of Ready-to-Ship products
Please contact Shaadilogy within twelve hours of delivery of the product by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Return Request", clearly stating the reason for return in detail.
Possible reasons for return:
- Manufacturing defect
- Product received is not what was ordered
- Product received was damaged
If you are returning the product for any of the reasons specified above, Shaadilogy's design team will inspect the product and if your claim is found to be valid, Shaadilogy will attempt to make arrangements to rectify the product or replace it with a new product. However, if your claim is valid and it is not possible to rectify or replace the product, Shaadilogy will issue a store credit equivalent in value to the selling price of the product, to be redeemed by you within six months from the date of issue. The store credit will expire after six months from the date of issue.
Shaadilogy can only consider return requests
- In cases where an email notification to this effect is sent by the buyer within twelve hours of delivery of the product
- For products that are returned in an unused, unwashed state with all the tags and packaging intact
Shaadilogy will arrange for the product to be picked up from your address, and delivered to the Shaadilogy office for inspection and further action (if any).
2Exchange Policy for Ready-to-Ship products
Although Shaadilogy cannot provide refund against any sold products, we may accept return of sold product by way of store credit of a value equivalent to the selling price of the product.
In case you wish to return a Ready-to-Ship product for any reason other than i, ii and iii above, a store credit equivalent to the selling price would be issued to you which can be redeemed on shaadilogy.com within a period of six months from the date of issuance of the store credit. The store credit will expire six months after the date of issue.
Made-To-Measure and Made-To-Order Products

Products that are Made-to-Order or customized (Made-to-Measure) cannot be returned for any reason other than:
- Manufacturing defect
- Product received is not what was ordered
- Product received was damaged
Shaadilogy can only consider return requests

2Exchange Policy for Made-to-Measure and Made-to-Order Products
For Made-to-Order and Made-to-Measure products, exchanges are not possible. If Shaadilogy, at its sole discretion, finds the buyer's return request to be valid, and is unable rectify or replace the product, Shaadilogy will issue a store credit equivalent in value to the selling price of the product to be redeemed by the buyer on Shaadilogy.com within six months from the date of issue.
